"CLOVER BLOSSOMS" is a color woodcut print, created from the printing layering of 4 woodblocks.

2 blocks print greens of leaf & stem; 2 blocks print pink/red blossoms.

Drawing for the "CLOVER BLOSSOMS" leaves & stems; 1st penned onto wood & then carved in low relief.







3 additional blocks were then created to add color to "CLOVER BLOSSOMS"



Each block was hand-drawn with the color information that prints from it.

For example, the block to the left above printed green behind the leaf details (right).



The flowers in "CLOVER BLOSSOMS" are 2-tone reds & pinks.



Blocks print one at a time in layers of color to build the finished print image.
