In a dawn/dusk moment, a hawk glides behind a "V" of birds.

The sky radiates in sweeping & striping brushstrokes of brilliant color.




VALLEY'S WOODBLOCKS IN PROGRESS




We began the process of making the color blocks for "VALLEY" with brushstrokes from a paintbrush!



The key block (ABOVE) was the first drawing/carving made for the "VALLEY".

Layers of swooping lines in the sky add emphasis to the cupped earth.
